Unlike conventional radiographic techniques, the 3D Imaging CT allows for the creation of images that are three-dimensional, high definition, and extremely accurate. These images allow us to visualize critical anatomical structures and to better understand your condition. This helps tremendously when making treatment recommendations. Three-dimensional CT scanning may be necessary to determine the location and position of impacted teeth, characterize several different types of tumors, locate important nerves in the jaw, or evaluate cases of facial trauma. Unlike other doctors, we never place any dental implants without this kind of imaging.
